Daddy's® Seasoning Recipes
"BIG DADDY'S"
FAVORITE RECIPES NO.2 Minute Steaks (2 steaks) (Alias cube steak)
1 onion, baseball size, sliced thin (I like red)
1 medium bell pepper sliced thin
1 ½ cup sliced mushrooms
1 teaspoon minced garlic
Olive oil.
Red wine (optional, alcohol cooks off and leaves flavor)
Flat grill plate.
Big Daddy's seasoning (Mild, Sizzling and/or Smokey Bar-B Que Rub.)
In a 9x13 baking pan or larger to hold as many steaks as needed Sprinkle each steak with Mild, Sizzling or BBQ rub (or a combo of rub and seasoning) on each side. Lay in pan, spread garlic on each steak then cover with onion and bell peppers slices. Top off with mushrooms.
Now cover the pan with a plastic wrap and place in refrigerator 2 to 4 hours or longer, I like to make this up tonight for tomorrow night.
Now you are ready to cook. Start your flat grill heating up. In another frying pan put onions, peppers and mushrooms, add ¼ cup olive oil, ½ cup wine and sauté down.
When your grill is good and hot place steaks on and cook to your liking, well, medium and so on. Drizzle wine sauce over steaks and serve.
This is good with any veggie's you choose.
